About Subscription Data

SubscriptionData.com was founded in 2002 by two IT professionals after extensive research and development of the core distribution technology.

Andy Leake - Co-Manager, Chief Technical Officer

Andy began his career in IT in the mid 1980's with contract programming and consulting assignments through to 1990 when he founded the software development firm, Captive Data which still trades today.

During the 1990s Andy has founded many successful spin-off IT businesses including;

  • 1993 Pelican Electronic Developments, a leading manufacturer of Teletext and data broadcast products
  • 1997 IRCnet a dial-up Internet service (sold 2001)
  • 2001 Compressed Net, an Internet compression bureau
Andy's combination of experience in Data Broadcast systems and Internet software development has guaranteed the core technology behind SubscriptionData.com is sound and robust and addresses the demands and problems faced with streaming internet delivery. Andy led the development of the transport and authentication segments of our comprehensive system.

Mark Campbell - Co-Manager, Manager Customer Services

Mark began his IT career in the late 1980's as a contract software developer then in the mid 1990's moved onto work on internet related IT such as database driven websites, systems administration and customer support.

Mark has extensive database administration and development skills which were put to good use during the development of the subscription management aspects of the SubscriptionData.com system.

His customer service and technical support capabilities have made him the perfect man to lead our customer service and subscription management team.
